KEYBOARD MOVES

Keys can work as a team.

A shortcut is two keys doing one small job together.

LOOK FIRST

Meet a few helpful keys.

Enter and Backspace

Enter says “go” or starts a new line. Backspace erases one mark on the left.

Shift changes a key

Hold Shift with a letter for a capital, or with a number key for another symbol.

A shortcut team

Ctrl + Z undoes. Ctrl + C copies. Ctrl + V pastes. On a Mac, use Command.

YOUR TURN

Choose the helpful move.

Try each tiny question. A wrong answer becomes something to review.

BIG IDEA

Shortcuts save steps.

You can always work slowly. Shortcuts are helpers, not a race.
